Our guest this week is going to be a special treat!  Danell is a dedicated advocate for registered citizens, currently serving as the Advocacy Director on the Florida Action Committee (FAC) Board and recently appointed to the ACSOL Board of Directors.

With a background in political science, real estate, and cancer research, she has spent over 30 years in the real estate industry, prioritizing housing for registered citizens and the homeless. She has also worked extensively with homeless populations in Florida. In 2023, she founded SHINE-VOICES, a support group for women forced to register, focusing on the unique experiences of marginalized groups in the anti-registry movement. Her advocacy work spans multiple states, where she leads workshops and encourages active participation in dismantling the registry.

Danell’s group gave an amazingly impactful presentation at the NARSOL conference last summer!  I don’t think there was a dry eye in that room by the time they finished!  I hope you will join Danell and I in a great conversation about the direction of our advocacy.

Click here to sign up now then watch for and keep the email confirmation from Zoom that will contain your personal link to enter the WAR Room meeting next week, Tuesday October 22nd, 2024.

Yours in solidarity,

I signed up! I hope others here will as well; seems like we could learn a lot about advocacy from this person.
